INTRODUCTION:
The topic you are about to enjoy is both fact and true. It was a life story of a prominent man in the Bible. You may want to know why I said there’s no size in marriage. Some of you may disagree with me for now because you might judge with the present situation as it concerns you. Also judging with this present condition may favor you when you say no, but I’m going to show the picture of a man of God, well favored and well respected. A Patriarch of high reputation. A patriarch of patriarchs. Someone whose record has approval from the most high. In fact a friend of the most high of no mean words. Guess who this might be.

LET’S TALK ABOUT ABRAHAM:
The personality of Abraham is the type that everyone emulates. He has a high degree of integrity before God. Though we may say that he had many mistakes as human, but God has the final say in all things. The scripture informs us that “forgiveness is with God” Ps.130:4. Abraham listened to his wife Sarah when she suggested to him to go in to Hagar her slave maid, that peradventure she might have a child through her.

He did it and Hagar became pregnant and began to insult her mistress. This led to her expulsion. Nevertheless she gave birth to Abraham’s first born son Ishmael. But later God came and gave him a promise of a son from his legitimate wife Sarah. God said to him “I will certainly return to thee according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son” Gen.18:10.

This promise was actually fulfilled according to his word and time. But where I’m talking about saying there is no size in marriage is 1. Hagar was a slave girl bought from the slave market when Abraham went into Egypt because of the first famine in world history. Hagar might have been around 15-20 years old when Abraham was about 85 years. Remember he was 75 years when he was called by God Gen 12:4. Abraham having sex with Hagar, a girl of about 15-20, he was her grandfather at that period in normal family setup. Yet she could carry her grandfather’s child to delivery. This means that no matter the size or age of a man, a 13 year old girl could hold him sexually. No wonder they are described as an institution.

Again after the death of Sarah, because Sarah died at the age of 120 years, Abraham went ahead and married another young lady by name “Keturah” Gen. 25. By this time again Abraham was about 130-135 years. He had about six males with Keturah and no female issue. I can see that Abraham was a very strong man indeed. For Keturah to have about six male issues with Abraham means that she was very tender. She was within the years of bearing children, which should be between 25-30. Don’t you see again that Abraham should be her great grandfather, yet she was pleased to get married to her great grandfather? I could see where Keturah was like a maid to Abraham, but instead she was a wife to him. Great grandfather husband was still strong at that age to impregnate a young girl or should I say a lady. This is the reason I said there is no size in marriage.

If a man of that age could marry a young girl supposed to be his great grandchild, is there size in marriage? I could see God helping Abraham’s veins and also renewing his blood and strength. Consider it with today’s age, is there a man of 130 years that could know how a woman’s nakedness looks? Such a man would be lying down waiting for Mr. Death to come quickly and take him home. Or is there a girl today who will accept to marry a man supposed to be her grandfather, how much more a great grandfather? Although we know there were generations which God granted to live up to 500 years and still bear their sons and daughters. Such generations belonging to Adam, Enoch, Noah etc.

With these two marriages we conclude that there is no size in marriage. Anyone could marry whosoever pleases him or her. If a 20 year girl decides to marry a 90 year old man, it’s her business.
But generally women do not like to marry a man they senior, instead they prefer a man who senior them even with two generations. I know of a young girl who says she likes to get married to the Papa whose wife died, and who was searching for a lady between the ages of 50-60 years. Her reason was “that old men knows how to pet their wives”. But that young men would treat them with reckless abandon.

No woman would like to marry whom she seniors. But men wouldn’t mind that at all. However generally there is no size in marriage. We look for quality topics for your relaxation, so always be coming.
