Some people taught that election belongs to the Devil, no it was God who started it, as he is known as the first and the last. He is the beginning of every beginning and the end of all things. No one starts anything for him to follow, no but he started all things for the rest of the world to follow. Like I said before, election was begun by him, you may not have known that, but I bring it to your understanding. HOW DID GOD START THE PRACTICE OF ELECTIONS OR VOTE? Right from the days of Isaac the son of Abraham, elections started by God in the book of Genesis. The Bible said that Rebecca the wife of Isaac was barren and Isaac besought the Lord for her and the Lord heard him. The Lord opened her womb and also gave her a twin pregnancy. She conceived of two Nations and manner of people in the persons of Esau and Jacob. Then the scriptures informed us that God made election between them and chose Jacob instead of Esau. See, the record said, “Jacob I love, Esau I hate” Rom. 9:13. This scripture was a reference from the place it took place in the book of Genesis 25:20-26. Even here Rebecca was told by God that the older shall serve the younger, this of course was election. The younger preferred to the older person. In case you don’t understand why we partake in politics and elections, it is not Delish, instead it was started by our God. The Bible said God made election Jacob and Esau and elected Jacob, so Jacob became God’s elect. But when Jesus came to his own, i.e the people of Israel, the Bible said they rejected him Jon.1:11. He was voted out by his own people. They even confessed and denied that he was their king. But when he was rejected by his own people, he turned out and faced the Gentles, a people rejected before. The Gentles began to love and worship him as their personal Lord and savior. He has therefore approved us also as his own people. Now all who believe in him have been elected as God’s own elect too. That’s why we say, “he was voted out by his own people but we have voted him in into our lives. You can also vote him in into your life as your own personal Lord and savior, and he shall make you his own elect now. So we join in elections because our God started it. And if you have not joined before or you don’t like participating in elections, because it must come through politics which may be dirty at times, at least vote the candidates of your choice.
